Brian Mahoney

For the past ten years, Brian has keenly followed the emergence and now preeminence of over-the-top video (OTT) and its impact on consumer behavior and business models. In addition to publishing the magazine and producing a leading event for industry executives, services include strategy consulting, research, financial modeling, and vendor selection. Prior to Trender Research, Brian spent 15 years leading strategy, sales, marketing, product management, and business development teams. Brian has contributed to the successful exit of three companies: the IPO of IPTV middleware provider Espial, where he was Vice President of Marketing, and the acquisitions of both Netcentrex and Unisphere Networks, where he was Vice President of Marketing and Director of Strategy and Business Development, respectively.
Sharique Husain
Co-founder & Chief Business Officer, DiveTV
Sharique is the Co-founder and Chief Business Officer of DiveTV. Prior to DiveTV, Sharique worked at Accenture Digital where he advised German, Austrian and Switzerland based clients on digital transformation topics around Mobile and Advanced Analytics. Prior to that, he held intrapreneurial roles at Buongiorno SpA (acquired by NTT Docomo) where he started from ground up Buongiorno's B2C business in Asia Pacific (as a joint venture with Mitsui & Co.) and Russia. Sharique started his career in the mobile and internet space at a Berlin based start-up Jamba! GmbH (later acquired by News Corp), responsible for product marketing and new market entry. He studied Physics (Honours) & Mathematics and later obtained an MBA degree in International Management.

As an accomplished executive and recognized thought leader in the OTT streaming, he is known for strategic vision and direction in the development and launch of video content and brands that leverage the new ways people consume content across an increasingly diverse audience population. He’s served in content, marketing, and digital leadership roles at Cooking Channel, Food Network, and Disney Channel. He has a B.S. from Stanford, a MBA from Berkeley, and is passionately curious about the intersection of media, technology, and culture.
